The Parliament Building in Bucharest is Massive

In my last post I showed you a nighttime photo that I took of the beautiful (and large) Parliament Building in Budapest, Hungary. This time I'm sharing with you a photo I took (from a moving bus) of the Parliament Building in Bucharest, Romania. Our guide told us it has 1100 rooms. I won't swear to it, but I think he said it's the world's third largest administrative building. Can you imagine the electric bills and cleaning crew needed to maintain such a huge structure? It's not particularly ornate, but it took hundreds of architects and many years to build it. Photo taken by me.
