Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 37 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. The high is 52 which is colder than I would like.
I woke up at the usual time of 5:30am despite the fact that today is Saturday. It was nice to not have to jump up out of bed though. I snuggled with Adso and Claire for awhile but eventually got up to take out the dog. I cannot wait for him to be gone. Hopefully Tuesday.
I have no big plans for this Saturday at all. I will likely get up to something in the kitchen. I also want to start reading Ina Garten's memoir. It arrived over a month ago but I have only gotten a few pages in. I'm totally out of the reading groove.
What's everyone else up to today?

You have taken care of that dog for a long time now. He needs to be returned to his owner, you’ve done enough!
No sunshine here today, cloudy and 35 degrees at almost 11am, so no heat wave here, either.

I made an unplanned visit to the emergency room today. I knew I’d had too good a day yesterday, on the anniversary of my mom’s aneurysm. Guess I’m having the panic attack today. They said no signs of a heart attack, thank God. I’ll be here for a couple of hours, though, so I’m glad I have my iPad with me.
