rewatching Game of Thrones

the last few shows i watched were all about one guy (Dexter, Hannibal) - and i realized that i don't like that. it's much better when there are many different characters that are somehow connected.
now that i'm rewatching the show - it kinda brings back memories from the first time when i was watching it. i was in high school, on summer break and binge watching GoT 
except for that, now i notice some things that i didn't think are important the first time i watched the show. and i also see some details that i would never connect to some events that happen later in show.
have you seen this show? who was your favorite character? 
and if you haven't seen it - why though? it's a great show (except for certain scenes, ok)

I didn't watch it because my friends had read all of the books and said the plot was complicated and I felt I would get lost.

it is a little bit, but i believe it's easier to follow it while watching the show than while reading a book.
because books go into details and the show just keeps happening. it's worth giving a try

I was thinking of watching some of it today. I have the whole series on DVDS. I got a bit bored with season one and I stopped watching.

the first episode ended the way that made want to see what happens next. i don't remember how things went in first season, but i know we're already at season 4 again

I have seen the show but I cannot get pass Season 1, the last episode I watched was The Watchers on the Wall. That was 2012 or 2013 when I watched it.

Yes, I have watched it. It is one of my favorite TV series. I like Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen
