I am writing a weird song in my head.

It's called "I like crooked teeth." I am writing this post to remind myself to keep working on it.
Ever since I was a teenager, I like it when girls smiled and their teeth had character.
When I was in college, some of the girls (women, for all of you angry feminists) had those suspiciously straight teeth. They tended to be the rich girls. I knew what it meant. Braces. They had had braces.
When Donald Trump Jr. flashes those suspiciously white veneers against his suspiciously dark tan, my bowels churn. Richard Thompson didn't have no braces as a child.
What brought all of this into my sick mind? I have a really good guitar student who has been with me for more than two years. She is cute as a button. @LadyDuck, it's the Russian gal who rarely smiles. She was 12 or 13 when we started, and is now 15. She has braces. I am wondering what her teeth will look like when the braces come off.
Anyway, that's what I'm thinking about this morning. It's still cloudy, and the pavement is wet. But it's not raining t this moment. I don't know if it is cold enough for there to be snow on Mt.Diablo. Photo is from a couple of years ago.

I got braces as an adult, after my divorce. It was to correct my bite, and things were good for a while but I stopped wearing my guard and then seven years ago I had that fall that knocked out 4 upper teeth, so theyv'e been replaced by a fixed bridge that looks good but the bottom row has moved all out of place again. So you can both like and not like my teeth, all at the same time.

I like my snow somewhere else.
I think it’s nice to have a song about appreciating the “imperfections” in others.

I had braces and my mouth always felt sore, I am sure her smile will be fantastic, It is so cold here so the space heater stays on in the front room where I sleep,

One son had braces but the other one didn't need them. They were expensive, I do remember that part of it.
