Deja vu of old times:)

And i kind of shared it with other people too, precisely teenagers I had to go to the city centre and was just returning by tram and of course, the bus stop was near. It was past 4p.m. and i knew that is the time when bus will probably drive off. Well, when i get off the tram, i saw it was stil there. I started running, he was slowly driving off, i even waved, nothing. Since the next one would have come in 10 minutes, i said okay, let it go but, not the nicest feeling driver ignoring you and being barely 50 metres from you, waiting for a green street light. Ah. What I wasn't expecting, some 4-5 teenagers behind me and a female leader of group saying something like, "we should try to get closer to the bus, the driver will see us and open it for sure". I joined them but no opening, guys and i saw girl pretty waving her arms, she really gave her all. This same thing happened to me when i was a teenager, 16 of age. I will never forget it. It was a small city, still is and there were, to this day, no trams so i walked from bus station to school; 4km in both directions and i remember i ran so hard with one female friend, more colleague and no, the driver didn't open the door even though i knocked and waved. I was both embaressed and pissed a bit cause the next bus was in 30-40 minutes. Not sure which season it was. I think it was winter or autumn. In summer, i rarely ran this hard Unlike yesterday's event when i knew bus will be there in 10 minutes, i couldn't smile back then. But i smiled hearing male teenagers getting frustrated and i wondered what for. By simply waiting 10additional minutes. Okay, it was cold but they got their jackets on and another bus came really quickly. Ah, same age, 2 different cities. True deja vu P.s. An online photo.

That's weird he can't see you waving. Every time I go to the office for my office day, at the bus terminal, I don't go where they are parked, I wait for the bus to leave and wave to the driver. Thankfully, since August, no one had ignored me.

I have seen others going through that . . . they run so hard down the street to catch the bus, but the bus just runs away . A 30-40 minute wait would be a bit long, but I imagine 10 minutes is not bad . . . but you know, the younger crowd seems to be quite impatient these days .

Yes, truly a case of Deja Vu! Sometimes, things make us remember the bygone days so much. I hope the bus journey was good enough.

Same problem we had when I lived in Latvia, Winters brutally cold, busses run often, but that waiting time is still bad,

I've rarely had to catch buses for transport. We can catch them now but they're very regular. It's a good service.

Thank goodness the bus runs every 10 minutes.
