So, I went to Food Lion to grab zuchini for the casserole I am going to make tonight, and of course extras, because I wouldn't be me, if I didn't grab extra stuff. Anyway, you have all heard of food trucks right? Well in the parking lot of the Food Lion, there was someone in a converted bus selling waffles. Waffles? I guess they were doing a waffle, funnel cake vibe..anyway, no way as they were super expensive. That is the day, I would pay 15 something for a waffle sold out of a converted bus. I wouldn't even pay that much in a restaurant. Any weird food trucks showing up in your area?

I find that all of the food trucks in our city to be expensive. The one with the name that I just love is the Donut Diva. I take it that she sells homemade donuts.

Yes, there used to be a donut truck that was across from one of the Dollar Generals store I have a love, hate relationship.with..generally hate. I never checked it out. Yeah, if Donut Diva is hand making donuts to order, you can bet its expensive.

@Juliaacv The waffle truck was quite stunning. I must admit. However, I don't care how cool their truck is, not paying 15 bucks for a waffle I could make at home for pennies!

There are tons of food trucks out here . . . there are areas that have weekly food truck events. But we don't buy food truck stuff - yah, for what it is, it's all pretty pricey. Waffles seem to be "a thing" now - as a dessert item I guess, even in malls - but again, pricey for what it is. Lots of fusion stuff here . . . I recall seeing sushi burritos - just sounded weird.

It is crazy..It costs what? Maybe 50 cents to make a waffle at home..maybe 1.00 at the very most with extras. 15.00..I don't think so!

$15 for a waffle? That's nuts!!! The only food trucks I've ever seen were at the county fair. Have a good day.

There are a few that park in lots that other stores have here. Even chick fil A gets in the act h ere sometimes with a mobile station in the summer. It parks in town but I thunk it might do better out here by the lake in season.

There used to be a food truck that sold ice cream, but I believe they have moved to a different location.

Those around here have different things, but usually sandwiches.
