What's Wrong With People

Last weekend, two people in my neighborhood, shot each other (both still alive, one in jail).
Another neighbor, who is a 48 yr old, convicted pedophile, told his mommy that I am hurting his feelings with my "No Trespassing" sign. She says I am a terrible Christian for not being nicer to him and that I should be ashamed for daily hurting his feelings with my yard sign. I told her if he steps foot in my yard, I am really gonna hurt his feelings. When I refused to move the sign, she threatened to call the cops on me. I just laughed.
A local business has two female employees that hate each other. They don't always notice customers because they are busy yelling and insulting each other. They do this in front of customers.
Another neighborhood has had druggies break into their houses and steal. The cops arrest them, then let them right back out and get irritated when called again cause these fools are trespassing and trying to steal.
At a local gymnasium, a 6 yr old boy, in one of the classes keeps trying to kiss, hold down, and drag by the leg a little 4 yr old girl. His parents are sitting right there and do nothing. The coach's barely do anything. When the girl's mama stands up and says something, protecting her little girl, everyone gets angry with her.
The library in a nearby town is stocking the children's section with immoral, pervert books, even though the majority of citizens is speaking out against it.
That's just the start of the craziness. What is going on in people's heads?
I think it is as much a spiritual problem as a mental problem.
I love watching the Andy Griffith Show, but I never liked the Earnest T. Bass character. He was always so obnoxious, and I used to think, there's a way to shut down that fool. However, looking at the world today, I kinda wish we had some Earnest T. Bass's wandering around.

The problem today is a spiritual problem since public schools do not allow prayers in school or the pledge of allegiance because of the words 'One nation under God" since those words are considered offensive to non-believers.

We're animals pure and simple. And, we act like it. Darwin, survival of the fitest.

Scientifically, we may be part of the animal kingdom. But God created us differently. He gave us dominion over all else and we are supposed to be good stewards of His creation. He also gave us a conscious and subconscious mind. We have a reasoning ability that the rest of the animal kingdom does not have. I believe the further we get away from God and obeying Him, the more distorted and dumbed down our minds become.

@gnatsmom If you truely believe there is a god, then you would know we have free will. I was tought, that God wanted us to choose to believe in and or worship him. And, that we don't have to if we don't choose to. But, if you really stop and really think about it, we're more animal-like then you would like to think. Not only are we going after each other, we decide what animals live or die. We spread out and take over everything, and you wonder why deer get hit by cars, why birds aren't afraid of people, or, why as a floridian I'm not afraid of gators.

@kaylachan As a Californian, I am not afraid of gators either.

Books encouraging trans and homosexual relationships. There were pictures in a couple of books and descriptions of what goes on in these relationships. There were parents who posted pics on their social media and they rallied a lot of support to have the books removed, but to no avail. Whether one chooses those lifestyles or not, there is no place for that kind of information and visuals in young children's libraries.

people lost their humanity, i feel and they don't like others disrupting their point of view. i also noticed and felt on my own skin, when i say something against something bad, i turn out the bad person. i mean, horrible and yes, keep that sign until eternity, it's your right.
