Not quite as planned

Jane and I were going to meet up for coffee, but she is not feeling well. Her health seems to have gone downhill a lot in the last two years. So I went to a couple of thrift shops. I now have some nice additions to my fall/winter wardrobe. I like to purchase clothes at thrift shops because if they get ruined or I am tired of them I am out very little in purchase price. I think my favorite purchase today was a pair of never been worn shoes from a brand I was thinking about trying as it sells online. I was needing a nice pair of dressy black shoes. They are a brand called Orthofeet and my knees and back are really happy that I found them. Bob and I had a light lunch and then went to Newton to shop. I now have a ham as well as my turkeys. We had some more of the pork chops I made this week and the last bit of them has gone into lunches for me for two days. I am ahead for the week. . . Yay!! Dishes are washed. I have laundry to put away, and then I am going to bed.
