11/24/24 - Update On My Husband

I wish I HAD an update on my husband; but there's been no answer at the nurses' station; and he hasn't responded to my messages for him to call me.
His 2nd cousin's car needs a fan belt; so I won't be able to see him today. I hope he isn't expecting me. I will try to call again after 9 am. We should be able to see him on Thanksgiving as planned.

That place needs to be reported to everyone and anyone who will listen and do something about it. This is just ridiculous.

Maybe you should try to call Adult Protective Services, and just have them check on him when you can't. I would be very nervous just leaving him there, as the faciity doesn't have a good reputation. Maybe that ombudsman you talked to previously has some suggestions for you. Sorry, you can't visit today.

It's worrying that your husband is not responding to your messages. But there is also a chance that his phone is not working well.

Just go on calling the nurses. Even if you can´t speak with him, you can know how he is.
