But I have learned to outsmart them. They got my Vuarnets. They got my Raybans. They even got both $12 shades in bought at the beach in LA. Of course, these were four separate incidents.
But I have found some shades I really like at the Dollar Tree. I bought one pair. And then I bought three more pair. So when the local criminals steal a pair of shades from me, I will merely replace them
How you react when people steal stuff from you? I try to be practical about it.

Was the truck locked? I haven't had anything stolen from me in the last 20 years.

I have only had something stolen from my car one time. It was a gym bag with swim stuff in it, in front of the school. Now I mostly lock my car.

I haven't had too much stolen from me. But wouldn't it be better if you didn't leave your sunglasses in your truck with the windows open?

We only buy the ones at Walmart. They are cheap. They last and if they get broken lost or stolen its not the end of the world.

That's a bummer. I get my reading glasses at the Family Dollar. I once had my car broken into to get my rearview mirror. Can you believe it? I couldn't.

Sounds like you need some better truck security. Never leave anything valuable in your vehicle, but you figure if they can get that, they can just take whole vehicle. I get most cars smart cars these days and there is a big difference between stealing a couple hundred dollars and stealing a car, but some these fools good and they can.
