....But it was a good week. It was just a busy one is all. Sooo, let's see what's been up. Friday: I got up early and worked on a few writing orders for my bigger project before heading out with my younger sister. We decided to cancel Wicked because she forgot about the Book Swap when she bought the tickets, and it's a long movie. No biggie, there's always streaming lol. Anyway, we got lunch at Panera Bread and made a stop by Dunkin. Then we went to Weis, the Dollar Tree, Total Wine, and Target. After she dropped me off, I continued to work on my project until 10pm, and then I watched the new episode of Blue Bloods. After it went off, I nearly pulled an all-nighter getting a bunch of orders done. I honestly don't miss those late-night work sessions. Saturday: I spent the first half of the day lounging due to lack of sleep. I went to bed around 4:30am, so you know I didn't get enough sleep. Then, my best friend picked me up and we made a stop at two stores before heading to the Book Swap (Secret Santa). Yep, an early Christmas party, but this is when everyone had a free day at once. My younger sister was my Secret Santa, so here's what she got me: - New Kids On The Block: 40th Anniversary Celebration book. - Dear Hannah (sequel to Baby Teeth by Zoje Stage). I'm exhausted and this is already a long post, so please just look them up if you're interested. - Mini bottle of Peppermint RumChada. - Small bottle of Mudslide. - Two cans of Dr. Pepper Zero Sugar. - One can of 7Up Shirley Temple... and she gave me the rest of the cans later because it was a 12pk lol. - A really nice glass tumbler. - Snoopy and Charlie Brown stuffed animals. - A Goosebumps "The Haunted Mask" cardboard mask she got from work. We grew up on those books (by R.L. Stine), and he's one of the authors who opened the door to both reading and writing for me. I got my 23yr old niece, so here's what I got her: - I honestly cannot remember the book, sorry lol. It was off her list. - Brown Sugar syrup for coffees. - Two mini bottles of regular RumChada. - A bookmark with a cat on it (she's a cat person). It says "Not Right Meow, I'm Reading!" lol. - A bag of KitKats (candy). - A black cat Halloween bucket to put everything in because she likes Halloween more than Christmas lol. We sang, danced, chatted, took pictures, ate, and drank, and it was SO. MUCH. FUN. It was exchausting but very much needed. Once I got home, I fed the dogs and got ready for bed. And you already know from the previous post how today has been going; working, lounging, and sleeping. It's been uneventful and that's fine by me. But now you can see why I'm so exhausted lol. I'm gonna wrap this up, but I may post again. :) Photo Credit: It's my picture. Those are my books from yesterday's Book Swap.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun memories to share. And being able to work for yourself helps.

@tammys85 I know the feeling. I am still a night owl by nature but I get tired, too.

Thank you. Yes, I'm grateful for what I do, I'm just tired right now. I don't pull all-nighters these days, so my body isn't used to it anymore.

I love books. I wish I had more time to read more. I am thinking about cutting some things out of my life so I can devote more time to reading. A new episode of Blue Bloods? I didn't know there was a new episode. Obviously, I have been super busy as well. I love binge watching the re-runs.

Oooh, I hope you're able to read more soon! Yep. There's only a few left. The series finale is Dec. 13th, and then it's all over. :( I'm hoping there's a spinoff, preferably for Danny Reagan (as I adore the actor/musician Donnie Wahlberg), but we'll see what happens. It's a shame because nobody wants to see it end, but CBS needs to make room for its 100th spinoff of NCIS.
