It changes over time as some students wind up returning to school while others are suspended or have injuries, illnesses, etc. 6 hours a week is a lot more than most other teachers do. I am in contact with the guidance department at all 3 high schools and almost no one wants to do science homebounds so they just automatically contact me for biology, earth science, and forensic science. I take as many as they offer. At $45.69/hour for sitting here in my sweats it is a good deal.
I am supposed to do an hour for a student who was suspended. I called the father last night at his request and he said he wanted to get in touch with the school first before setting it up. I don't really understand what the deal is but whatever. It is just 1 hour so I won't be bothered if we wind up not doing it. It isn't going to be long-term.
6 hours this week is an extra $274. That covers the month of tanning and the tank of gas I paid for today as well as my recent grocery order. Sweet.
