some time ago i had a misunderstanding with one myLot user. i knew that i was unfollowed the moment i saw this users response, because i wanted to message them and i couldn't. however, i kept following, hoping we'll talk things out, but then i realized that i'm blocked. i'm fine with that, we all got our own ways to deal with things that bother us.
moving onto the interesting part – after that happened, i noticed that some of myLot users we both interacted with stopped following me or responding to my discussions. i'm just wondering what happened there. i literally said nothing bad to anyone (not even the person that blocked me), but for some reason people keep unfollowing. i mean, that's completely fine, but it just feels weird when i don't feel like i said anything to cause that
And then i remembered @prexie 's discussion where she asked if she ever said something wrong or hurt anyone, so it inspired me to ask the same question – have i ever said something that hurt you?
please let me know – in response or message. i don't want to be the bad guy here
have you ever had such misunderstanding with people on myLot?

Your posts do not offend me at all. I have yet to be blocked here. I have been blocked on Twitter and Pinterest due to my comments being considered offensive. Their loss and my gain.

@aureategloom I try to be nice to people here. the comments that got me in trouble was telling people that complain that their lifestyle that is not the normal will go to jail if anyone of us misgendered them. I replied "Go jump into the Chages River."

Not me, but I have had things happen like that, where I said nothing wrong, but the person blocked me.It could be by accident, but I never checked.

that's good. thank you for sharing
i doubt this was on accident, but i'm more interested in what happened with others that just unfollowed after having a nice chit-chat in their or my discussions. i try not to stress about it too much, but i had to share my concerns

I think people just realize that unfollowing just stops them from getting notifications from following. Or, that it doesn't work like it does on other sites. Sure, you can narrow down discussions in the "following tab, but that's all following does. And you have to both be following each other to use the "suggest" option.
Blocking really doesn't do much. Many people have blocked me, but I still see their discussions on pages like "most recent discussions' so I don't really put much stock into it. All blocking does is prevents a person from sending a message or responding to a discussion. If I find someone has blocked me I just skip over it, and remind myself, it's on them... not me.

I have no problems with anything you’ve ever said. I’m sorry this whole thing upset you though. I’ve been blocked, and the reason why I was blocked is based on a lie the user really believes. It doesn’t bother me. Sometimes things like that happen, and in the end, you might be better off for it. Less drama.
I will add somehow twice two people got a message to me that I had blocked them, when I KNOW I didn’t. I chalked it up to a glitch and quickly unblocked those two people. I had never had a problem with them before though.

I accidentally blocked someone before.
Someone accidentally blocked me before.
But all is well now.
As I commented on that post, we are different from each other. Sometimes even if you did not intend to offend someone, they thought what you said might be offending to them. Those people are sensitive.
I don't think your post or comments are offending
