Rice ladoos

This is yet another Christmas goodie that we make during Christmas time.
Rice (boiled rice) is washed and dried in the sun. It is then roasted and powdered. Jaggery and coconut is pounded well adding cardamom powder. Rice flour is then added and pounded well A few raisins are added Ladoos are then formed and dusted with rice flour so that they do not stick together.
We normallykeep them in the fridge as the coconut in them may affect them

Sounds delicious. We have glutinous rice balls with sesame, or peanut paste as filling.

We make sesame ladoos too with jaggery syrup and cardamom powder and sometimes add pieces of roasted peanut

Those look good. I can't have any as I am allergic to coconut.
