Bring it on! I am for sure a little more than chubby so this newest hubby development is a tickler to me. It shouldn't be but it is. In the bad old days before hubby got so ill he made things- pizza dough, bread and yes, candy. His first degree was engineering. He likes to figure things out. So- besides pizza dough, hubby made candy. I've always been a bit afraid of boiling anything- it took me years before I attempted doughnuts due to needing to boil fat to get those doughnuts. Not hubby. He has no issue with boiling sugar into oh boy oh boy! candy. He made butterscotch for his church gathering yesterday. Real butterscotch that has real butter in it. He brought leftovers when he returned home. I had no problem snagging some. Hubby intends to make some peanut butter cream caramels for Thanksgiving. I really am glad he feels good enough to manage that tasty trick. We're not doing the gigantic traditional turkey dinner.

I’d rather have butterscotch than turkey. I’m thankful he feels well enough to cook, too!

@FourWalls Thanks. We're going to have smoked salmon chowder as our main entree.

I totally 'get' how nice it is that hubby is back making sweets. Vince is back cooking and that pleases me too.
