The sun is shining today but it's only 5°C/41°F. I did go outside and had a walk around my yard, but I didn't stay too long. I suppose if I was bundled up in a furry blanket, I could stand to sit under my new patio cover and read, but don't feel like going to all that trouble. I'll just read indoors, thank you. The forecast for the weekend shows those nasty scalene triangles... I hope it's wrong. How's the weather where you're at? I know a few people have already had sn*w but I don't want to see it around here... some of my flowers are still blooming!

Not now on Mt. Diablo yet. I was able to see it for a couple of seconds the other day.

I think we'll see 80 today as promised. It'll drop to about 70 on Friday, but I'm okay with that. Don't want it to be boiling when I have to be out and about.

We had quite a lot of ran and now there is some flooding, some of the roads are closed.

That's not good. There was a lot of flooding in the story I just finished reading, "over two feet of rain in the last 36 hours." I hope it's not that bad where you are.
