Today's trip to the big Tesco. (27/11/2024)

We went to the big Tesco again this afternoon. I got rid of the soft recycle as usual, and we went up on the lift. First I got the TV Magazines because my Mum couldn't get any when she went to the little Tesco yesterday. Then I got a bookazine about Daleks and an Artists and Illustrators magazine, which has a free booklet about acrylics with it. I only needed one bottle of water today. I got 3 packets of seaweed thins and two lots of sushi for the weekend. Mum got some boxes of chocolates, some boxes of biscuits and some boxes of shortbread as presents for people. I managed to get Mum's pads today, so I got 2 packets. Then we got the usual fruit and veg, yoghurts, milk and puddings for Sunday. Mum wanted me to get some little pork pies, and then we went to the vegan and ready meals isle. My Mum got an Hawaiian pizza for tonight's dinner, and I got a plant based mushroom one for me for 5 days breakfasts! I also got some tofu, plant based stuff for my lunch on Monday, and some plant based bites. My Mum also got some more of her ready meals. Then I went to the ingredients and sauces isle and got some tiny pickled onions, some pickled gherkins and some pickled beetroot for my Mum. After that I went to the pasta, rice and sauces isle and got some couscous and soy sauce. I then went and got a beef and tomato pot noodle for Syd, and then I went and got a 50/50 loaf. Then we got a small fruit Christmas cake with icing. Then Mum got some raspberry turnovers for tonight's supper. After that we went and got some crisps for Syd. Then Mum decided she was getting tired and went to sit on a bench while I got the rest of the stuff. First I got her some malted milk biscuits. Then I got some jacket potatoes, a big bag of chips and some battered fish. Then I got some prawns for myself. Then I got 2 lots of toilet paper, one for me and one for Syd, and then I went to pay. My Mum was only just getting to the tills when I got there! She went and sat on a bench while I sorted the groceries. It came to just over £149. The lady gave me two blue tokens to vote for a charity in the machine thing by the door. Then I went and sat on the bench with my Mum for a bit. We started for the lifts at about 4:15pm for a slow walk. I put my blue tokens in the voting machine and we went down on the lift. It was 4:25pm when we got into the undercover car park. We sat on a bench to wait for Syd. It was very cold out there. Syd was late! He didn't come till 4:35pm! When he did come we put the bags in the boot and went home. When we got home I unpacked the groceries and put them away. I put the presents on the side in the kitchen, and the jars of stuff and Christmas cake on the other side. Then I had my dinner and watched some telly. Later I put the recycle out ready for the recycle bin man coming tomorrow. Mum has now gone out to the house group. The lady who runs it, Julie, came to pick her up tonight. What have you lot been getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a great night. Nos da!
