Which are Your Kids?

I always imagined the peaceful, beautiful, perfect Norman Rockwell scenes when I used to imagine parenting. The attached picture, I definitely imagined it being like the top scene. My 2nd and 4th children were like that. However, my 1st and 3rd were the bottom scene. Actually, sometimes they still are, even though they are both in their 30s. All four of them love each other, though. They will fight for one another. That is one of the coolest things about parenting, watching how different the kids are, but how much they love one another and enjoy each other's company.

i don't have kids yet, but i know that my parents were always saying how they raised two completely different kids - i was quiet, calm and in my own world and then there's my brother who's was completely opposite of that while growing up. we're much different nowadays too, but we were both raised the same, with same set of principles and we love each other. also, there's 7 year difference between us, so i guess that also helped us to never fight and know that it's important to be there for each other

That is how it is with my kids. They, pretty much, have the same values and morals, but completely different personalities. They were raised the same, but all shine in the unique way that God created them. I have 3 close in age. The first 3 were 15 months and 18 months apart. Then the youngest was 7 years after the 3rd. So I have experienced close in age and far apart.
