Happy Thanksgiving! Do you have plans?

I'm going to chill this morning and then head off to Mark and Nataly's house this afternoon. Actually, it will be Mark's sister's house, but it's all good. My "date" will be Tereese, the gal who just got her MA in Library Science at UCLA. She's Mark's sister's daughter. We always catch up at these gatherings, and then go outside, where she sneaks a couple of puffs of my cigarette. As you know "naughty" is my middle name.
I may try to hook up the el-cheapo printer I bought the other day. But technology has not been my friend recently. Maybe I'll just play music. My students were a delight yesterday. Alee is out of town, but Jonathan continues to "style" on piano (I think he's about nine, with a mouth full of braces), as does a newer student named Elina. I'll write about here later in the day.

@anya12adwi Only in my imagination. I would like @Vandana7 to give me a culinary tour of all of India. But she is afraid of sh*rks and will not swim across to pick me up!

None today. We added some stuff to the Christmas decorations outside we started a week ago. Then I spent some time, with the wife's help, cleaning up my man room. It badly needed it. Meanwhile, I have a Mississippi pot roast in the crock pot and we'll have that tonight as our actual family get together for Thanksgiving won't be until the 8th of December. Happy Thanksgiving to you, friend. May it be as good as you deserve. lol

@TheHorse lol. Not sure how it got its name actually. Of course, I don't follow the recipe exactly—but of course not. Typically it's made with chuck roast and then you add butter and peppercinis, along with a packet of au jus mix and Ranch dressing mix. I skip the butter and the peppercinis, and in this batch added some bacon and onions along with potatoes and carrots and used brown gravy mix instead of au jus.

Glad you have an invite for Thanksgiving, I got enough thanks today too, I made myself a small piece of marinated pork loin in my slow cooker and later my friends from below sent up a turkey platter for me, That is what Thanksgiving is all about bounty,
