Blessed Mama

I am one blessed mama. These four have given my life meaning and purpose. Being their mama has been my greatest joy and privilege. I always say, “I know they are not perfect, but they are pretty close”. Being able to see them all yesterday made my day. The hard part is feeling how much I love them but knowing they are not really mine. Then I remember the best part- they are God’s. He just lent them to me and Ronnie for a while. They answer to Him and that is comforting because He is the perfect parent. If they are living outside of His will, then He will discipline them perfectly, full of mercy, grace, love, and holiness. If they are living inside of His will, then He will strengthen and provide for them perfectly, knowing that they will turn every blessing and challenge into an opportunity to glorify the Father. And although I miss those days of them being home under my wings, I also love seeing them soar and press on. I do not deserve these beautiful blessing, nor the beautiful blessing they have added ( kid-in-laws and grandbabies), but with all my heart, I say thank you, Lord, for blessing me beyond what I deserve with these 4 treasures.
