The movie that gave me a panic attack

Now, you guys know I'm old. I've been here since close to the beginning. I have also made it no secret I live horses, cat, giraffes and Science Fiction. So, I was watching a video where the guy was telling about the 5 movies he'd never watch again. He did also say that the movies were well acted and stuff, but he would not watch them again, and why. He also asked what movie/s you would never go back to. So, I told him about a movie I will never watch. But I had to go over and find the name of the movie. And I found it. It is called The Crawling Eye. When I was a kid Dad let us stay up late and watch the scary movies. Started tame enough, but one of the guys was frozen and went down to the... ski resort? He was dead, but still doing stuff. But when they climbed the mountain to find the other guy, they saw his body sticking out from under a bed. When they pulled him out he had no head. And that was the point I got too scared and Dad took me to bed. When I was in 8th or 9th grade, I had a friend over, and when I realized the movie that was starting I flipped out. I ran into my bedroom and cried. I couldn't even tell them why I was so scared. And now, 60 or so years later, I think if it came on, I'd flip out again, probably not as traumatic as the that time, but... yeah, a movie scared me so badly. There are some movies I will never watch, this one, Alien is another, and all of the franchise from Alien. I don't like jump scares and I really don't like horror movies. I will also say that RKO's horror movies aren't as bad as most of them today. My question is there a movie that just terrified you so badly, you never want to see them again.

I don't think there are any movies that scared me so much I'd never watch them again, but there's probably some that I'd never watch because they were too schlocky.

I'm pretty selective these days about what I will watch. I saw Wicked... I wanted to see Dune 2, but movies have become way too expensive.

I can't think of any. I can think of a couple I couldn't finish when I was young. But as I got older I watched and enjoyed them. An American Werewolf In London was one.

@ElicBxn Anymore its kind of funny even. With how much special effects have improved you can tell how much is fake. But I still enjoy the older movies

Yeah, I remember when I was a kid we went to the movie, and saw a movie called Blood Rust, I couldn't sleep for a week. I use to cry when it was time to go to bed.

When they pulled the frozen, decapitated body out, I was done. I had nightmares for ages. When I saw Poltergeist on TV and had nightmares for a month. That was one of my childhood fears, things in the closet (and under the bed!)

Me either! The guy in a rubber suit didn't scare me like something living in a cloud!
