Today is sis's birthday. Her one son's flight was delayed yesterday, but he finally made it back home. Her other son's car went dead out of the blue..and some sort of white substance was found in the fuel line. Hopefully, it will be finished today, as he had to call into work. The one good thing is that he didn't have to drive back in what woud sure to be a massive traffic jam yesterday. Ahh, the holidays..
. Anyway, I think my parents have two to three feet of snow with more to come!

Happy Birthday to your sister, I hope that she has a great birthday.
I feel sorry for your parents getting so much snow all at once.
In Gravenhurst, ON, they received 140 cm which quates to 4.5982 feet.
That is alot, and the temperatures were very cold.
They lost hydro in that region.

Erie will probably have that much when its all said and done It has been snowing off and on and will continue into the weekend.

@snowy22315 They just showed the area that I was telling you about on the news.
There was a transport truck loaded with cattle on it on the highway, and they were stopped on the highway, due to the snow, for hours. That is so sad, the animals would have been thirsty and hungry.

when it is excessively deep, and has to be put somewhere it is a problem. Did you see any of that Buffalo game last night?? It was snowball!

Thank you, they sure can be, if you have to go out in them. I still don't have this snow blower together. I might call the guy who fixed the oven element. He does odd jobs I guess. I am generally crap when it comes to putting things together. I hope the cat tree I bought Nico isn't gonna be a big problem. I tried to look for one that said easy assembly.

@snowy22315 - I already made an arrangement with the gardener, if it snows he will come to our home with the snow blower, so I have to do nothing. I am decorating a small tree this year.

@Marilynda1225 I was just looking at something this morning. that there could be a pattern shift lasting into the spring. You know how abnormally warm it has been? Maybe we are gonna get abnormally cold for awhile. Next week should be a bit average or above..but after that, who knows?
