what's your color?

for some reason, i always attach color to people i speak to. some people are blue, some people are purple, different shades of green etc. do you also do this or are you normal?
when i think of myself, i usually think that pale pink is the color that can be associated with me. or some shade of gray. but lately i've been thinking how nice orange is – sunsets, autumn leaves, orange roses, oranges, mandarins. it's all orange. and i thought, oh how nice it would be to be orange.
i never told any of these thoughts to my husband. and last night i asked him what's my color? and guess which one he said? i was speechless...
so, what's your color? or what is your favorite color and why?

@aureategloom A dark, rich blue is my favorite. What do I see myself more as? I used to be a dark blue. I think now, I see myself more as a pink.

I like the color purple, but I really don't know why. I just do. My mom loved orange. And my husband likes orange and green.

well, it is a nice color. i love brighter shades of it, like lavander or even brighter
growing up, not many people loved orange, i think only my mom loved it. i never thought about it, but later i came to realize that it really is a beautiful color.

My favorite color is red since to me it means authority like a traffic signal or traffic stop sign.

a lot of people in the responses like purple, i didn't know it's that popular. turquoise is nice too, reminds me of the sea and those coconut cocktails
