What to Add?

For Christmas my hubby and I are having a new dryer delivered to our son's place.
The appliances in the laundry room were there when they moved into the home, and they were not new then. They replaced the washing machine recently, and now it is time to replace the dryer. So we will gift it to them.
But, an appliance really isn't much of a Christmas gift as it is. I am trying to come up with something to wrap up to go under the tree for them. They already have dryer balls, they use special dryer sheets, and I know that she has plenty of essential oils to use on the dryer balls.
So, what am I to add to make this a real gift? Any suggestions, I'm dying to hear some.

That is what I did.
I found a cute little sign that says Missing Socks, find your solemate and it has a little bar with some clothes pins on it to clip socks until the mate is found.
I have to order it, I've been busy today, and will order it tomorrow.

@Juliaacv ........That is a great little item. I have an old wicker basket that I used to have on top of the dryer and the odd socks went into it. It was flat and round.

A gift card to their favorite store or restaurant?

@kaylachan I just found a really great wall hanging on amazon that says lost socks, and has a bar with 6 clips to hang single socks on. That would be really handy for the volume of laundry that they do.

The only problem with a gift card is that the place that they like to go to you cannot eat at for less than $200 and after spending over $1,000 on a dryer, that is a bit much for Christmas. I am saving my earnings for when I retire in a couple of years.
I saw a nice hanger on amazon that folds out like an accordion and that may be a wise choice.

Do they have a favorite restaurant? A gift card would be nice. I wouldn't give them anything dryer related. I see that you found a sign. That's a cute idea. Have a good day.

I found a cute little wall decoration, which is practical also.
I am going to order them that.
We spent enough on the dryer that I don't want to shell out another couple of hundred for a gift card to eat out.
I feel a little disgusted this evening. I went to the appliance store and brought the fact sheet that he gave to me the time that I went in a couple of weeks ago. He remembered me and he put my order into the computer, they have to order it from the Whirlpool warehouse, and then he calls me when it is ready for delivery to their home. I put my glasses on to text my hubs as I had to ask him for their delivery address. He noticed that I put my glasses on and took them off and I feel that he took advantage of me for that.
After I paid, he printed off the receipt and explained that it included removal of the old dryer. I didn't have my glasses on, but I clearly told him, no we do not need disposal service. I never considered looking at the receipt, but my hubs did when he came home and there was a $25 charge for it. Plus 13% tax. Now I need to make my way back out there to have them credit my debit card to have that amount cleared. I think that is terribly misleading and almost fraudulent because we had a discussion about removal and I told him that they have someone that wants their dryer and my husband would remove it and have the area all ready and swept clean for the deliveryman to come along. I feel sorry for him when I call tomorrow as it won't be a kind discussion, and I will want to speak with the owners and discuss my concern regarding his dishonesty. It isn't nice to cheat this ole lady, and now she's got her back up.

@Juliaacv I hope you get the extra charge taken care of. 13% tax is quite high.

@LindaOHio We're used to paying high taxes, it hurts when you purchase a home or a car.
I got the extra charge taken care of, sorry to vent on you about that, I hope that it didn't upset your morning.

What about a six pack of Bounce dryer sheets, all different kinds wrapped up and festive looking? I bet they would like that.

@wolfgirl569 Oh I just found a cool wall hanging for the laundry room.
It says Lost Socks on it and has 6 clothes pins that you can hang single socks on until you find their mate.
I will order that tomorrow. It is super cute.

@aureategloom They are very particular about their clothing, I don't want to waste my money trying to buy them things that they may not like.

For under the tree, consider a decorative laundry sign, a gift card, or an ornament symbolizing family memories. Cozy towels or a fun laundry accessory could complement the dryer perfectly. These add a thoughtful touch, making the practical gift feel festive and personal. Which idea sparks your interest most?

They have a country farmhouse decorating theme and I found a practical and pretty sign that says lost socks, find your solemate, and it has a little rod on it with clips to hang odd socks until you find their mate.
I will order it today. I am also searching for a wicker clothes basket, I had a really good one years ago that lasted me a very long time. So many items like that are impossible to find today or are made from synthetic fibres so I will have my work cut out for me.

Thats a really nice gift and I'm sure it's greatly appreciated. I really don't know what to add with the dryer theme. Maybe a pretty new laundry basket
