I’m a few days late, but who cares lol? It’s December 2024! I love the holiday season, and I have a few things to look forward to already! On Sunday, December 8th, I’m hoping to go to the annual Pagoda Lighting at our local park. It’s a festival with vendors and music, and Santa and Mrs. Claus walk around. Around 6:30 pm, they do a countdown, light up the Pagoda in changing colors, and we all sing “Let It Snow!” It’s a nice event. :) I’m picking the Little Guy up from school on Friday, December 13th. We’re going to watch Christmas specials (most likely “A Muppet Family Christmas,” as we both love that one) and hopefully bake cookies. I need to get to the store after I get paid this weekend. He loves Christmas as much as I do. :) One of my best friends from PA may be coming up on December 14th. We haven’t been able to visit one another since like, 2021, so I’m looking forward to her visit and hoping nothing changes. I’m not 100% sure what we’re going to do yet, but I also don’t care, I just wanna hang out and have fun! At some point, after she gets back from vacation, my younger sister and I are supposed to go to our best friend’s house to bake with the Little Guy. I’m holding her to that because he’s looking forward to it lol. Somewhere in between, I’ll finish up my cards, shopping, and wrapping. I’m not worried about it — I’ll get it all done on time. I’m also hoping my best friend, the Little Guy, and I can drive around and look at the lights at some point. Of course, I’m looking forward to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but I think the build-up is just as fun as the actual day(s). Alrighty, I went through all of my notifications from November, outside of what I just received a little while ago, and now I’m going to post this and get back to my writing orders. I’ve decided to work from home today, so I don’t have to pack up and rush home before dark. I’m actually almost finished with my work, and then I’m gonna go relax for the evening. Anywho, you all have a good day/evening, stay safe, and take care. Photo Credit: I snapped this picture of the 2022 Pagoda Lighting (we couldn’t make it in 2023).

these sound like some nice activities you'll be having, but i would be most excited for the friend that's hopefully coming to visit. i know how difficult it is to see one another when you don't live close. i'm so happy for you and i hope you bake those cookies with your sister and Little Guy
