Using A Slower Pace

Today, I decided to use a slower pace doing things here at the house. Use to be I had a habit of doing things really fast. The fast pace came from working in a chicken processing plant, and from the hatchery where you had to deliver from a fast pace. But today, I decided to slow down, I was getting nowhere fast. I feel better and got more done. Sometimes, I was putting pressure on myself to get it done right now. Now that I'm retired, I thought what the heck. I feel so much better. Taking my time and enjoying it. Such a nice and pleasant day, even though it is cold. Enjoy your day.

I just make sure that every day I get done with what I had planned to do. Stay warm and enjoy your evening,

You have to work at pace that feels comfortable for you.

After working so fast for years, I need to find what works for me. Not easy.

I know, but working fast for so long it is not easy to just slow down.

I have following the rules of slowing down my work during the day and relax and do the best I can to complete my tasks.

Yeah. I like to take my time getting things done too. I don't mind being busy bbut not so busy I don't have time for myself.

I think that is the right move. Just go a bit slow so you can enjoy everything more.
Doing things in a faster mode makes me so exhausted except if I am doing it in a systematic way...

Sometimes, my heart does race, and I get out of breath, that is when I sit down.

One of the perks of being retired is doing what you want when you want and being able to take your time. Slowing down is a good idea. Have a good day.

The one thing I do at a fast.pace is walking. My friends say if I'm running or walking. All other things I do with a comparatively slow pace.

Well, kudos to you for being able to walk fast. Good for you. I like that every thing else is done at a slow pace.

@popciclecold I agree.Everything else should be done at a slow pace.We should eat at a slow place chewing every morsel properly; we should implement a plan after considering it properly. We should bath;drink water;read;write and do almost all other things slowly.

Yes, it's important to take things slow. I've been doing this more lately, especially when I realize there is no need to rush.
