Short story: Entering Heaven

Alf had recently died, and he was then carried up into some other world, just as his soul then, and then he came to a stop in some room, with the sign on its door, "heavenly courtroom".
Alf went inside, ushered in by the doorkeeper, and once inside, he was confronted with his last life, just lived, on the large screen, which played back to him all of the pertinent moments.
Alf closed his eyes, blindly, as none of this was relevant to him, as he would rather forget all of this.
But then, he was questioned on it, and he knew that watching it would have allowed him to answer more truthfully, and now he struggled with his answers, and so he was kicked out of the courtroom, for such contempt of court to spend time in some correction centre, going over his life, bit by bit, until he understood the reasons that required him to understand his own past life, and why he had lived it like that.
It seemed like another lifetime had passed in this correction centre, until, an angel finally came in and took him with him, back into the courtroom to again try to answer the questions posed to him before.
Alf had had training in the correction centre, and now he was able to answer the questions in a truthful, and learnative way, as it showed that he had now learnt from each experience, and grown from it now, in his soul.
Alf finally made it into heaven then, and so he was able to live a better life there, feeling comfortable that he had met the requirements now, to have entered, legitimately so.
Nobody can enter Heaven then, unless, they have reached the levels of wisdom required of them.

"If you lose Heaven, you lose everything; if you gain Heaven, you gain everything."
Ellen G. White, (1827 to 1915) an American writer said this, but as this story shows, not many people will lose Heaven, as all are given more chances to enter it.

There can be no free pass to heaven and we should be prepared for a stiff inquisition centered on our lives here.
We are held accountable for our actions and that is fair and square.
What Alf went through is a sobering thought for those still alive here and taking things for granted.

Most people are held accountable, if you Donald Trump you get elected President, but that is humans, not god.

@crossbones27 Politicians, when in power ,seem to be only accountable to themselves and can get away with many misdemeanours, pardoning themselves, and their family members, for such actions too.
If there is a God, they will not get away with such stuff, having being performed here, when they reach the doors of Heaven. At long last, they will be held accountable there, for every action of theirs done in their lives here.

Yes, if there is any justice in creation, we will all be eventually held accountable for our every action.
I would not like to live in a world where unfair rewards is the norm, either, or where others can get away scott free, from their bad actions.

Yes, hopefully, but I do think that we will be questioned about some things in our just lived life too, as Alf was here.
We need to try to really live a good life here, and think about how we have lived it from time to time too.
Such self-assessment is beneficial for us to do, I think.
