After 3 Winters...Finally

Monday night into Tuesday morning we got some snow. It was the first measurable snowfall for our area in 3 winters. We have had flurries, freezing rain and such but no snow that actually covered the ground until Tuesday.
Our area is surrounded by mountains so when there is snow the higher elevations get the majority of it. This time moister came up from the south, with cold in place we got snow.
Normally when it snowy, I stay in and enjoy it from the comfort of my lazy girl chair. However, I had a hair appointment to get my hair cut, so I ventured out in it. Didn't have any trouble but saw a lot of wrecks along the way. People just don't understand the term slow down.
By the afternoon, most of it had melted away. Was pretty while it lasted.
one of my favorite pictures from our little snow storm this week.

That looks very nice with the snow, It is so cold here in Florida that if it had to be cold I would rather see some snow,

Newly fallen snow is so pretty. Glad you enjoyed getting a little and it didn't cause a lot of trouble. We've gotten a dusting recently and a few days with flurries here and there.

Such a nice picture. I enjoy snow storms that come for a day or two then promptly go away.

That looks like a postcard picture!!
A good snow after 3 years is a good thing.
Sorry to know about the accidents along the way.

It is a shame that some motorists do not heed the warnings to drive carefully on bad roads.

Lovely pic. We are still buried in 2 feet of s**w. I hate this weather! Have a good weekend.
