With sticky Christmas pudding from England. Can't afford that this year though. I miss the lovely English sweets at Christmas time. What is your favorite cake or pudding at this time of year or traditional dish you do?

I like to get specialty treats and I venture onto Goldbelly.com sometimes just to look around. It's all so expensive. I used to make carrot cake cause my ex liked it. Or I would make banana pudding where you layer vanilla wafers, bananas, and pudding. It always gets rave reviews. I have never even heard of this brandy butter but it sounds good.

I think I gained five pounds just looking at the picture. Thankfully, nothing from this time of year stands out for me. Except turkey and dressing.

My sister makes persimmon pudding for Thanksgiving which I enjoy. I also like rice pudding too! Both yummy.

I learn about English foods from you! I know "pudding" is different from our puddings here - ain't no Jello pudding . I can love any cake. For Christmas, I guess we are cookie folks.

Not much for the traditional treats at Christmas, far too easy to overfill on chocolate and other sweets

I can't eat any traditional dishes, but I like most of them. I need to avoid them. I have never heard of this pudding.
