Haha, that would be cool looking. A black one with crossbones. Btw, I do the dishes, my boyfriend never does but I'll admit I use the dishwasher 95% of the time. Still, you always need a sponge around because there's no getting out of hand washing for some things.

I let things get messy everywhere and then I'll do one big cleaning like once a week or sometimes longer than that. I can't do the daily maintenance thing. I'm too scatterbrained and also lazy.

I tried them out last night and I like them. I think the blue one is better for normal washing and the yellow material is scratchier so it's better for tougher work. But yeah, they work pretty well and at least I didn't have to go buy a pack a new sponges because I'm really having a hard time with money right now.

I've also crocheted sponges from tulle in the past. Nylon net makes great scrubbies and it's really cost effective

Thanks, it is something that makes me feel good. However, I wish I had more colors of the yellow yarn, since it's the perfect sponge texture but it's expensive at full price. I got the whole skein for $1 on sale but it's $6 reg. Currently I'm too poor for all that.
