Made some dish sponges

The last store-bought sponge sitting in my sink is disgusting and I don't have the money to buy more right now, plus I need to use up some of the yarn from my stash.
The pink and yellow are yarn are 'scrubby' yarn designed for making sponges (which I bought on clearance long ago ) the blue is cotton scraps I had leftover from an old project.
Haven't decided which ones I like best yet but I'm playing around with the combinations and having fun with it.

Interesting, my sister might be interested in. Screw it I am. I do most of the dishes, Pecking order in this house. I do not know how to yarn though, see pecking order. Be cool if she could make me a killer one. Little crossbones on it.

@Kamuigan People slobs, I tell you, even clean freaks. Why I say just be like me, you not as clean as you think you are.

Haha, that would be cool looking. A black one with crossbones. Btw, I do the dishes, my boyfriend never does but I'll admit I use the dishwasher 95% of the time. Still, you always need a sponge around because there's no getting out of hand washing for some things.

@crossbones27 I am kind of a slob, I'll admit it I let things get messy everywhere and then I'll do one big cleaning like once a week or sometimes longer than that. I can't do the daily maintenance thing. I'm too scatterbrained and also lazy.

@aureategloom Some things are getting better and other things are not... but I'm just doing my best to survive. As many of us are!

I tried them out last night and I like them. I think the blue one is better for normal washing and the yellow material is scratchier so it's better for tougher work. But yeah, they work pretty well and at least I didn't have to go buy a pack a new sponges because I'm really having a hard time with money right now.

Thanks, it is something that makes me feel good. However, I wish I had more colors of the yellow yarn, since it's the perfect sponge texture but it's expensive at full price. I got the whole skein for $1 on sale but it's $6 reg. Currently I'm too poor for all that.
