104 days until spring.
The woman who was going to shovel our walk and steps and I agreed on $50. Her original quote was $175!!! When I asked her if she would take a check, she changed it to $75. I told her thanks but no thanks. I will either find someone else or the s**w will melt in the next few days.
There is a man willing to dig out the old mailbox from the s**w and put in the new one right away. He will charge $100-125 which I thought was reasonable. The sooner the better so I can get our mail.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Beef stir fry, rice, 2 servings of mixed veggies, tropical fruit
Dessert/Snack - Red velvet muffin
Dinner - Turkey/Swiss sandwich on 12-grain bread and Doritos
What did you eat yesterday?

I can understand why you hate snow. I would too. And so expensive!

Yes; and every time I need to have the drive plowed it's $30.

@LindaOHio I can understand that our friend from Indonesia was interested. Sometimes US citizens are not aware that many immigrants are willing to do those jobs for less money.

$175 seems a bit much. I mean, you do have a long driveway, but still. I'd yank out of Snowjoe and charge you $25, but if you were my neighbor I'd probably just do it happily and charge you nothing at all.
I do it for Mary next door when it gets bad, although it rarely does here. She's in her 80s.
For dinner I kept it simple and made On-Cor Salisbury steaks and had macaroni and cheese and green beans on the side. Yummy.

$175 is ridiculous for a short walk and the front porch. The drive gets plowed for $30.

Well that would be good if they could do that. I can't say if it is a fair price or not...but good to have that done.

Definitely get that mailbox up, because normally the post office only holds mail for 30 days. They take the service out of “postal service.”
Infamous potato soup and pears and yogurt and fiber and hot chocolate for dinner; chicken & cheese baked potato for lunch.

Glad things will be getting done. That's not a bad price for the mailbox with how much snow you got

I'm going to try and make sure he gets it up this week. They can only hold mail for so long.
