I have an anxious cat

She was very anxious after she was spayed. She eats five times daily, she started to gain weight. She is pacing back and forth. I can't keep the door closed. I can't keep my mom's room open without a lock. She wants to go there and eat everything she can. She is very anxious and I don't know how to help her. I have to keep all the doors open because if she is in my room she wants to go in the hallway. If she is in the hallway she wants to be in my room. She even entered my mom's room when she was sleeping. She tried to steal food. I have anxiety and maybe my anxiety affected her too. I play with her at least once a day. Do you have an anxious pet? She is healthy and has a good appetite, but she doesn't sleep, she is pacing a lot, and meowing and seems unable to settle. Blue feels better. He doesn't have seizures anymore. We give him treatment every day. I ordered some new toys and I will play with them more.

@dya80dya i believe they're all "crazy"/anxious at that age. no worries. just keep the doors open so she can walk freely. that's what we do for our cats.

female cats change a lot after they get spayed and i believe it's not your fault; i think her hormones are trying to gt in balance. so glad for Blue.

Well, obviously something is upsetting your cat, I hope she settles down soon,

It seems like something might be bothering her. I hope she feels less anxious soon.
