I was a meeting yesterday, and felt sick, and threw up. I asked a member to drop me home, and he agreed.
He is very tall and very fat. I am five feet, don't weigh 100 pounds.
So he asks me about my diet and I tell him I am a vegetarian. He replies; "you know how many vegetarians die?" and rants for about five minutes.
Then asks me if I use salt. I say no.
He then goes on telling me about the 52 minerals in salt and how it is good for me.
I am sitting there, feeling sick, and his words are locking me into a cloud of insanity. But I say nothing and finally reach my yard, thank him, get into the flat, throw up, then lie down.
And I am try to figure out how in the world can he tell me about a 'healthy diet?'

I laughed reading this. Thank you for that! If there is anything I've learned in life, it is to not take advice from someone who doesn't take it themselves. He needs to work on his own diet and health before he starts dishing out advice on how others should live. I'm glad you didn't try to confront him about it. Stay safe. You are much smaller than him. You wouldn't have stood a chance if he got violent. The rant itself is a red flag. It would've escalated really fast if you argued with him. You are smart to walk away from that situation as soon as possible.

@lilacskies I am not being paid for advice, so I don't give any. People can say what they want, pontificate, I don't have to listen.
I don't have to respond, so I don't.

@jaylar That is one wise man indeed. I am the same way. People can call me a coward for being like this, but I don't care. I need to be safe.

it is so funny to me how people get so annoyed when you tell them you don't like/eat meat. like it's the worst thing in the world
and about being fat - i always assume that the person has some health issues that make him that way and that it's not his/her fault. i know some people who gained weight while using certain pills
