Do you like candy canes?

I was at Dollar General today. They had some decent specials going on, but what I really wanted Energizer batteries for 2 dollars off were sold out. Luckily, I did get the 3 for 5.00 Progresso soups. I did not look in the seasonal aisles, but a candy cane might be nice. Do you like them? They really signify Christmas probably more than anything else.other than the tree. I am not too much for peppermint candy canes..ho hum, but I do like some of the flavored one. What kind you like?

I have never liked candy canes. My hubs loves the true peppermint ones, but I'm not a fan of hard candy really.

I think I would like the oreo one Amber mentioned. Wintergreen are pretty good too, and I like spearmint.

I've never tried any flavor other than the original. They're tasty when I'm in the mood or have a wonky throat.

We used to get them a lot, but we noticed the boys would not eat them as much. I love the peppermint ones though. I think that they are nice for the tree, but don't buy too many if you have kids that don't eat them. I would rather get the fake ones to hang on the tree, and have one box of real ones for me ??.

One of my son in laws absolutely loves candy canes. Every year, they decorate their tree, and every year, he eats the candy canes...all of them.

That does sound good. Would you believe I have a green and white probably wintergreen one left over from last year? Amazingly the humidity this summer didn't seem to kill it.

I don't eat them anymore (I don't mind the peppermint - I'm just not into hard candy type stuff). I do like giving them away - putting them on gifts or cards. I'm for the traditional red and white ones.

I like to hang some on my tree. I wish you didn't have to buy 12 at a time though.

I love peppermint, because it feels so good on my throat and sinuses. However, the problem with candy canes is the intensity, or lack thereof, of the peppermint flavor. Some of them have been so bland I just have to accept that it was “supposed” to be peppermint. They also tend to hurt my teeth as I’ve gotten older.

I have never been that much of a peppermint fan. It is good with other things though like chocolate for instance. I really like peppermint patties.

I've tried to stay away from most Candy the last few years. I bought flavored when my kids were small but I don't remember what flavors.

My husband is the one that likes the peppermint candy canes. I tried to buy him some at Walmart; but they were out of stock. Have a good day.

Since they have all those funky flavored ones now, it can be hard to find just plain peppermint.

I have not eaten or bought a candy cane in years. I only bought them when all of my kids lived at home. My favorite is the peppermint ones.

I like the candy canes that have a sweet red stripe look on them.
