Inflatables and Kind Buckets

After my Christmas card theft (recap: post office employees thought my thick pop up Christmas cards meant gift cards and stole them and other customer’s mail), I decided to deliver the cards in person to the people who live around here. One being my cousin Kevi (yes, Kevi) and her family. On the way out of her neighborhood I shot this picture of the neighbor’s huge inflatable. I usually only see inflatables that big in parking lots.
I also noticed Kevi left a sign on a table outside her front door, inviting the UPS, post office or Amazon Prime delivery person to grab a bottle of water (options also included soda and juice) or snack she had left for them in a bucket in the corner if they wanted one. I thought that was so sweet.

I have seen some pretty big ones at Halloween. I also have seen people who must have a fortune invested in them and spend a pretty penny powering them. I like Kevi's Kind bucket.

That is a HUGE inflatable! That's nice of Kevi . . . and the folks do appreciate that! I do try to look out for our postal person during those super heated CA days . . . it could be 100 degrees plus . . . those ice cold water bottles are sure appreciated!!

That inflatable is HUGE! it actually makes the house look small
That's such a nice gesture that your cousin offers drinks to the delivery people. I'm sure they appreciate the offer.

i've seen some houses with huge inflatables like that one. i think delivering cards in person was the best option, not risking them being wasted again. and Kevi's so thoughtful with that sign and water and snacks - you're lucky to have friends that think that way
