We Have Turkeys on Our Roof!

We heard something on the roof. What in the world?! Then a little later we were looking out my window and saw 12 turkeys wondering around the Taco Bell parking lot across the street. Yes, it was our visiting turkey gang. The owner lives nearby and just let's them roam around. A few days ago they were crossing our main drag and drivers were hocking at them. I was thinking to myself that if the owner cared about them at all he might want to keep them home this being a little more than two weeks away from Christmas. Someone might want a free turkey.

That's dangerous. They can go on the streets being the cause of accidents.

That's very true. The owner must not know they get out.

@celticeagle The owner should be careful about his turkeys.

It just seems rather weird to me. Not to keep them corralled that is. If we have animals it is our job to take care of them.

As long as you don't mind road kill... because although they may look stupid and ungainly, they're actually very agile and fast and hard to catch.

I was going to say I'd have free turkey for Christmas dinner.
