What's for din? December 8th, 2024

We didn't get back to the house till after 930 so we just heated up leftovers from last night. I knew that making extra chicken and dumplings was a good idea. They were just as good the second time as the first. I didn't take a picture because it would look nearly identical to last night's picture. So that's what went on the table tonight. What did you have for din?

Leftovers always taste better second time around.

We had our Thanksgiving dinner family get together, so it was all traditional fare. Ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, mac and cheese, and God knows what else. We all ate into comas and had plenty leftover for everyone to take plenty home. I even got the carcass which I made into turkey noodle soup, and they gave me the ham bone as well which will be made into a bean soup.

@porwest The kids wont eat it, so it'll be a lunch meal or something when they have plans. But it will happen.

@thislittlepennyearns I like baby corn, carrots, broccoli or brussels sprouts. I also steam potatoes for mashing
