Weekend/Monday Notes (12/9/24)

Hello everyone, how are you all doing?
Been a busy weekend here, so I haven't been around much. Well I haven't much lately anyways...but that is besides the point.
We have been busy helping Eli finish up all his missing work from school - he needs to have them all done by this Thursday for report cards. First semester grades come out next week.
Eli started out with 17 missing assignments; now he only has 5 left to finish.
We are hoping if he has incentives maybe next semester he'll try to finish everything in class. Guess we will see how that goes.
Besides that, we went to dinner Friday night and a very nice stranger paid for our meal. That was a complete surprise, I never know how to react when that happens...
Got some Christmas shopping done - mostly need to work on gifts for Eli now. I have one small thing coming. We are thinking of putting a note in a card that he can pick one game from the switch online store that he has been wanting if it is at least in a certain price range.
Oh, this weekend we also put up our tree! As you can see in the photo - it's a white tree with a bunch or red accents/ornaments. We still haven't put our regular ornaments that we usually put up. Maybe we'll do that this weekend lol. What do you think?

Love the christmas tree. We put ours out a couple days ago ourselves. I sure hope he gets those assignments done.

That's good you did.
I don't know how well the last 5 will go....but he got 12 done over the weekend. They were easier ones though too.

@kaylachan The teacher has already graded what he turned in too! Now his lowest grade is a C in math.
But 3 of the 12 he had done, just didn't get it turned in last week because Thursday he couldn't take his backpack to school - it got locked in the car and we were locked out of the car....he had to walk to school and everything. Never told that story lol
