Adult time

I am busy patting myself on the back. I could be sweeping floors but I'm busy patting my back.
I got up this morning and headed to the hospital to get my EKG done. It's just a rule out test. I really doubt there is anything going on with my heart. My blood pressure is low to normal.
After the test I drove to the gym and dunked myself in its pool for forty minutes. I need the exercise, no matter how much it hurts. Got to move those joints.
I mailed a couple of things at the post office before I went home. Every building in my town has its own "historic!!" label on it. I am always delighted when I can just drive to a mail box and dump in envelopes. I love the post office's rather quirky looking stone shape, though.
Yes I will attack the floors soonish. At least I did some adult stuff first thing today.

Good for you My day had not been particularly adult, but I did manage to get the mortgage paid, and talked to the garage twice

A big pat on the back is in order, indeed. It is a feeling of accomplishment to knock out these adult things - and you did it 
. I got some adulting done today, but I didn't get as much done as I would have liked to. Eh - we can always continue on tomorrow
