Second Day of "Trying to Work"

I must say it is better than the first day. I couldn't start working at 9:00 a.m. because the kid is down with a stubborn dust allergy and needed to see a doctor. There is too much dust in this godforsaken place. Then, when I got back from the doctor, I was in no mood to turn on the computer. So I just sat with my son and watched a movie instead.
Here is the good news. I did manage to turn on the computer at least one hour earlier than I did yesterday. So, that means, I can get at least two hours of work done.

Yup ... I have been working from home for the past 15 years, and it has kinda lost its appeal now.

@mishocat05 I worked from home for about 6 months back during the Covid pandemic, and I hated it. I couldn’t wait to get back to the office.

it's better than nothing and spending time with your son sounds like a better way to spend time anyways. is there anything you can do about the dust?

Absolutely nothing I can do about the dust. They are constructing an apartment house and shopping complex in the next plot.

Yes, working from home has pros and cons. And when you have been working from home for so many years as I have, you no longer feel like getting back to an office and dealing with the human drama and the politics there. Of course, you get enough of it while working from home too, but you have more peace moments.
