I went to the little Tesco this morning. The weather app said cloudy, but no chance of rain. Wynne's not doing his radio programme now for the rest of the week because he's in London practising for the group routine on the Strictly final on Saturday, so I didn't bother to text. It's great that I managed to talk to him yesterday! When my Mum last went to the little Tesco, she brought the trolley in through the front door, whereas we usually bring the trolley in through the back door, and it's been in the kitchen ever since. So I said I would go out with the trolley through the front door, and then when I got back I would come back in with the trolley through the back door. My Mum gave me her list, club card and £80 because she wanted stamps too. She told me to get 20 Christmas cards, but adult ones, not kids ones. I set off out the front door. There was a workman who was working on next doors house out the front and he said Hiya, and I said Hello. I went to the post box on the corner of our street first and posted 4 Christmas cards. 3 of them are for the USA, so I hope they get there on time. I also posted another order, which I hope comes before Christmas too. Then I went off to the little Tesco. When I got there I went to get the TV magazines. I got next weeks TV magazines where they usually are, but Mum wanted the double issue Christmas one too and I couldn't see it. I did see a Doctor Who magazine, but I thought I'd wait till tomorrow to get that from the big Tesco. At the end of the isle there were a few Christmas cards, but they were single ones not packs. I went round to the next isle and got two chocolate croissants for my Mum and Syd, then I got Syd's bounty bar. I was going round to go and get some strawberries, but one of the shop workers was coming round with one of those big trolley things piled high with green plastic tray box things. Another shop worker was there and she told her to stop. Then she backed up to let me get passed. So then I did manage to get 2 lots of strawberries. I didn't think I was going to be able to get them at first, because they weren't in the usual place, but then I saw them one shelf up, so I got those. Then I went round to get 2 bottles of milk, but on the way I looked at the stationary stuff that's at the end of the isle, and there I saw some doggy poopy scoop bags, and next to them was a doggy poopy scoop bag holder with some poopy scoop bags included! I thought that was pretty natty, and funny! After I'd got the milk, I went off towards the till. On the way I got some honey roast peanuts. Then I saw some packs of Christmas cards on the other side. Mum wanted 20, but they were in packs of 12 so I got 24. One pack has a picture of a front door, and something else I can't remember, the other pack has cards with a wreath on and ones with Christmas trees on, all with a white background. When I got to the till, and I'd packed the trolley, I asked for 24 Second and 8 First class stamps for my Mum. It all came to £59 something. I set off for home, and when I came home I came back in with the trolley through the back door like I said I would. Then I went into the living room and gave my Mum her change, shopping list, club card and stamps. Then I told her I thought she was going to be pleased with me. I brought in the TV magazines, put one of each on the arm of Mum's sofa for Syd, with his bounty bar, then put the other 2 on the sofa next to where I sit. Then I unpacked the rest of the groceries and put them away. And now I'm watching Homes Under the Hammer again. What are you lot getting up to today? Are you ready for Christmas? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.
