I joined Facebook to play Scrabble because it warned if you misplaced a letter. Over time on I noted a number of my friends were there. By friends I mean people whose wedding I attended, who I have coffee with, not some two dimensional avatar. As I use a nick, I contacted them, told them who I am, and we chatted. Everyday as I log on, I have to delete two or more half naked female photos from people who 'I may know'. I proved it was a twisted bias venue by posting; "Trump supporters are stupid" and being banned for two days. Posters have described how they would blow up a synagogue or church, conduct a mass shooting, and only have their accounts removed after the event when a reporter visits and mentions their page. You can see that the 'moderation' is rather 'limited' to be polite. I also proved it sold my 'private' conversations to advertisers by mentioning 'autism' in a post. I then got swamps of ads from every organisation that deals with autism. It's ads are swamping. Try to play a game on FB and it is interrupted by ads of the most repulsive kind. It is full of hoaxes, tricks and used as a platform to push frauds. A group of youths in Macedonia posted a pile of rubbish during the 2016 election which was pro-Trump and made thousands of dollars from ads. As those with fully operational brains can check I.P.s, finding that an article like... oh..."The Pope supports Trump"...posted on a mock site made to appear an official American one is in Macedonia. The youths, when interviewed, explained that they are too young to work so made money by creating hoaxes and advertising them on FB and bought cars. This wasn't hidden, it is just that people today are so stupid they believe what they see online, no matter how ridiculous. Facebook is an example of how minds are controlled, people are manipulated, and fully unaware of it.

Like other platforms, Facebook reflects both the good and bad of societies. It helps maintain friendships and facilitate communication, it raises significant ethical and moral concerns about privacy, accountability, and societal impact
