Welcome to December...

The craziest month of them all! Yes it has been insanely crazy and I'm still trying to get stuff done. I am so happy though. We are in the same place we were a few months ago financially but we're not letting it get us down. I had my first few shifts at EMS and they were pretty good. I learned a few things and everyone has been awesome. The craft show this past Saturday was a great success. I got a bunch of sales and a few orders. I'll be working on those today. I'm also setting up in a new store today. It should be really good. Slightly higher rent fee but no commission is being taken out. Fingers crossed this turns out to be a good thing. The shop in general is doing well. I'll be doing a facebook live tomorrow so people can order online. I'm also looking at expanding. I have a different lip gloss set, then I'm looking at lip balm, freshies, a laser engraver and hydrodipping. It'll be an interesting year next year lol that is for certain. I've been squeezing in some reading. I just finished Carrie Ann Ryan's newest ARC then moved on to The Mirror by Nora Roberts. I got that one when it came out but everyone was saying it was going to end on a cliff hanger so I was delaying it. Now I decided to jump in and just suffer lol. I already know what I'll read after that. Puzzles are touch and go as well. Not from just a time management point but my dog keeps chewing up my pieces lol. With that being said I actually did complete a Marine puzzle and am now on a Christmas Mickey and Minnie puzzle. This one is taking a bit because it's all pretty much white and off white lol. I am going to start adding in writing to the daily schedule again just next year I think. Things have already fell behind. I still need to put up stockings. I will also be wrapping presents and baking this week. If I can get orders done today, tomorrow after the live will be baking all day. I went through all of my recipes last night and pulled what I want to make. This should be good :) I hope that everyone has a really great day, I know I'll be trying to :) it's definitely going to be busy! What are y'all up to?

Busy sounds like an understatement I'm happy to hear that things are going well with your shop and sales and of course your shifts at the EMS. Looks like a very busy December for you and positive thoughts going into the new year.

Thank you so much! My planner next year is already looking full and that's just our basic fire schedule right now. I'm working on getting my TOSHA certification next year and maybe with a little luck my CPR Teaching certification by the end of this year.

The holiday season, as I call it, between Thanksgiving and New Year's is always very busy for us. Probably is for everyone. I am just looking forward to spring when I can at least be busy doing fun stuff. lol

I call it the crazy season. I love the season but I have to take people in stride lol. I wish I had a season that isn't busy. I just started my planner for next year and it's already getting booked up. That's just our basic fire schedule, I haven't added EMS or Rescue or my business stuff yet lol.

@JordanLader Sometimes it's better to be busy, otherwise you'd have nothing to do. lol
