Confused again

Good day all, hope you’re well. I read a little about this story and I’m very confused yet again with the way things happen. Not sure if you heard about this or not. There is this guy who shot and killed the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, the insurance company. What I know so far is that he came up behind him in New York and shot him several times, killing him outside a hotel. Now they found a guy they believe did the shooting. They said his manifesto leads them to believe he did it. Here is my question..why do they guys have manifesto’s? Do they want to get caught? Can’t they plan these things without writing it all down and leaving a trail for the cops? I guess this guy all but admitted to it. He had a manifesto, he had a gun that looks the same that has no serial number, he said some things that would give good reason to believe he did it. I guess he told the cops, “He’s frustrated with the health care system in the United States". He claimed that the U.S. has the most expensive health care system in the world but ranks about No. 42 in life expectancy. He said UnitedHealthcare "has grown and grown, but has our life expectancy? No, the reality is, these [indecipherable] have simply gotten too powerful, and they continue to abuse our country for immense profit." I mean he is not wrong about that, but you can’t go around shooting people. Sounds to me from what I have read, he will be spending a long time in prison.

That is what I am wondering why would the person of interest would shoot and kill the CEO of United Healthcare just because he did not like the policies of the health insurance company would reveal his intentions publicly.

@Bensen32 That is true since some people do not know that revealing your private life in social media will be a disaster.

@Deepizzaguy It amazes me how people put so much information out there. Do they not think someone is going to get that information and possibly use it in and evil way?

The bottom line is that these people are simply crazy, and they think their views are "important," which is why they produce manifestos. They desperately want to get their points across, as misguided as they are, and they think they are doing work for the betterment of the rest of the society. The reality is that they are delusional. Beyond that, their acts only outline THEIR evils. Not the ones they are trying to expose.

@Bensen32 Nothing new. This sort of thing has been around forever. It's not increasing, but like many things, it just feels like it is in the moment when something like this occurs and we are reminded of past ones.

I’m alarmed at how many people online are excusing the guy. There is no excuse for what he did. Plus, his family is extremely wealthy. His care should not have depended on any kind of insurance, reported back problems or not.

Yeah, I can feel the frustration at the insurance, I feel it all the time but yeah you can't just be killing people when you're upset about something. It's just more craziness in this world.
