100 days until spring. First of all, I had something happen ala @NJChicaa. As you know, she has been receiving gifts from an anonymous person. I received two chocolate oranges -- one in milk chocolate and one in dark chocolate. I have my suspicions; but I don't know for sure who sent them. Was it you? Whoever it was, thank you very much and you shouldn't have! Thank you for the Christmas cards that I'm receiving. Normally by now I have mine in the mail; but I haven't even started. With all that's going on, I've been kind of lacking in the Christmas spirit. I will get to them...I promise! I also have 9 calls to make. The phone problem was supposed to be solved on the 10th; but we still don't have a landline. I had mentioned before about coffee prices taking a jump. I hope you stocked up with you favorite brew. Coffee prices have now hit a record high due to the weather. An Australian lab has lost 323 deadly virus samples: Most are of the Lyssavirus which causes rabies, 100 vials of the Hendra virus which has a 57% fatality rate and 2 vials of the Hantavirus which also has a high fatality rate. Chief Health Officer John Gerrard has reported that the virus will degrade rapidly outside of freezing conditions. An investigation is underway. The Arctic has historically reduced global emissions. Now with wildfires and rising air temperatures the permafrost is breaking down and releasing carbon into the atmosphere. The mailbox man had me text a picture of the broken mailbox. He claims that a new post is needed. I don't know how he figures that since the old post is covered by the mailbox post. I am suspicious. My husband's 2nd cousin picked up a load of groceries, picked up my prescription and worked on my to-do list for almost 4 hours. She's coming back on Friday. We enjoyed a frozen Uno Chicago Style Pizza after she was done. Darn it! I had a filling fall out for the second time. Will have to go back to the dentist. Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Fish, rice, Brussels sprouts, mixed veggies, biscuit Dessert/Snack - Blueberry muffin Dinner - Uno Chicago Style Meaty Pizza What did you eat yesterday? You've really had a busy time of it. I've finished my cards so I'm pleased about that.

Trips to the dentist are what nightmares are made of. lol Good luck. I can't remember what we had on the 10th. It was either braised pork steaks or leftovers. It's been busy and my mind is all over the place. lol

That's understandable about the Christmas cards, I haven't done any either and I don't really have an excuse, I just am a procrastinator. Not sure what to think about all the news. Hope you find who sent the chocolate oranges, are they the delicious ones that are just orange flavored chocolate or oranges covered in chocolate?

@LindaOHio I think I know what you are talking about then, and they are really good - even though I could never eat an orange haha

Is the box leaning. If so it probably needs replaced. Glad those virus samples should break down fast

I don't think it's leaning. We are going to replace the box anyway. I don't know about the post.

One of my crazy combinations, Fried up a bit of ground beef, added hot dog chili sauce, put it over seasoned fries and baked in the toaster oven with cheddar cheese. Came out very good and more for tomorrow,
