I gave up many things I used to do every holiday, however, this year I'm going to do it once again.
Bake.
Do I need to bake?
Not for me but for others to enjoy, of course I'll eat some, I have to be the tester to make sure they taste good
Are you baking cookies, cakes and such for Christmas?

i'm not having such tradition - but i'll probably have some for future holidays that i celebrate. i don't know if i'm happy for you that you decided to stop baking, or feel sad for tradition

I made pistachio fudge, chocolate swirl peanut butter fudge, chocolate mint squares, and sugared peanuts that are all in the freezer. I'll make small containers for the family at Christmas. Enjoy your baking!

I can't cook or bake anymore but I sure do miss it. I would love to make some Christmas cookies and a cheesecake. Have a good day.

I bake quite a bit, but I do make bread on a fairly regular basis. The holiday treats I do make, are for family. I have a few neighbors I like to take some to as well.

Not a lot. We are working on growing a "starter" for a cake my dad's wife used to bake. It is good when you can rediscover the things that give you joy.

I’m sure the recipients of your baking results will be very glad to get your efforts. It’s been awhile since I’ve baked. I used to bake snickerdoodles each Christmas to give away in honor of my mom (it was her favorite cookie). I seem to have lost that enthusiasm.
