I had a doctor appointment this morning, and then had to stop at a couple of pharmacies. Unfortunately, I ended up with a migraine so my visit to my dad afterward was very short. But the migraine is gone now, and I’m thankful.

Did you have the meatballs or the eggplant?

I always feel so bad when you get those migraines but glad it didn't last too long. At least you were able to squeeze in a visit with your dad. We had the eggplant. It was just easier than making meatballs

I began working at 7, but noticed immediately that we were not busy at all. I checked the workflow, and put my name in for volunteer time off, and by 9 I was finished. I had texted my hubs, and he and the girls came by and picked me up on the way to playgroup. I spent a wonderful day together with them. Of course, none of the dusting, vacuum cleaning nor mopping got done, because I do those chores on my breaks and lunch and after work, and I wasn't here to do it. But I did other things, and they are much more memorable.

i was talking to my friend yesterday and she told me how she can't read such books because it "stays with her". crocheting sounds like a good idea. i'm glad you'll spend time the way you like. and for dinner - i'd go with what's easier to make.i hope you enjoy your "me day"

Sounds like a good day! I started the day with a two-hour nature walk. Purchased breakfast for a change instead of making it. I plan to lunch on leftovers. I plan to complete a few blog posts and get my new blog going. I also want to fit in a few sweaty workouts and an hour or two of music. Dinner would be rotis and egg and paneer burji. Then early to bed so that I can rise early tomorrow.
