Memories of Winters Past

Oh, my gosh. So paranoid about going out in winter with my hip and coordination issues. I just stay inside. The parking lot(just outside the front door pretty much)becomes a skating rink and i don't skate. You've heard the saying "slippery as snot"? That pretty much describes it. My waffle stompers and I meander around the outskirts if at all. And we haven't seen snow down here in the valley yet. I pray to Isis that I don't have to go.

We haven't gotten much for several years.

Nope, never heard that saying.
But I do remember back when I was a kid and we'd get an ice storm, some kids would put on their skates and skate to school. These days, of course, they'd close the schools if we got an ice storm.

I hope you don't have to go outside. We have had enough s**w already to last a lifetime. Have a good day.
