Christmas Cards in the Mail

As promised, I sent out Christmas cards to everyone on my Christmas list yesterday.
I also changed my settings just now. Starting January first, you will see me again every day. That doesn't mean my books are ready to publish. Far from it. It means I miss engaging with you. I'm working on a way to spend time here and get my work done. It's going to be a balancing act.
It also means I will post the Daily Bible Study again and the thankful post every day. I know some of you told me you miss the thankful post.
I look forward to interacting with you again. Thanks for reading. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Christmas. And Happy New Year.
The image belongs to me. We had snow yesterday. Not this much. This was from our first snow this year.

I do not spend the amount of time here that I used to either.
Life is such a balancing act, we have to do what is right for us, and those things change now and again.
The snow that you had yesterday looks like it was a heavy somewhat wet snow.
We had snow over night, but it got quite cold and the snow is that fine light stuff.
Have a great day today.

We haven't had snow yet this year but have had two freezing rains. At least they both melted off quickly.
I don't spend very much time on myLot anymore, either.
It's nice to see you.

@just4him Unless Pretty forces me, I don't go outside if it's slick out. (I fell on the front porch when it was just sprinkling... Now, she's scared I'll fall, too.)

That's enough snow, don't need any more than that. It snowed here once so far, and is long gone. In fact, the last couple of days were "warm", about 6°C/43°F. But today, it's very cold (MINUS 6°C/21°F) and windy. On the bright side, it is very sunny, but I'm not going anywhere, glad I got out the last two days.

@just4him I'd mail you some except we don't have any, and Canada Post isn't moving...

@BarBaraPrz I wondered about that. I have a card to send to Canada, but it won't arrive if I try to send it.

At least you were in the plus instead of negative F numbers. Here we were around 2 F yesterday with negative wind chills in the negative teens. It was a good day to stay inside. Today, I see a 1 F on the computer. We're in the negative wind chills again today. We will see a warmup over the weekend. I'm not looking forward to it. I would rather have snow than all this frigid air.
You can't have too much snow. But you can have too little. We had a dusting a couple days ago. I'm greedy when it comes to snow. I want all I can get.

@just4him Thank you. It's a very tough time for me. I made the decision to put my husband in long-term care. He's not strong enough to come home.

@just4him No problem
And we'll try....I didn't get the Christmas present I wanted more than anything. Well, could happen still but I wouldn't know till after the new year. Maybe it'll give us a great reason to celebrate the new year.

Hi Valerie, good to know you are returning. It sounds like you have been making good use of your time.
We got quite a lot of snow today, and it made the roads bad--we were only supposed to get a dusting and it ended up being way more than that. But it will melt very quickly--it's very cold now, but it is supposed to be in the 40's by Sunday.

@MarieCoyle Right now we're at our high for today, 32. Definitely a heat wave after the last few days.

We definitely missed you all these months in mylot. It is great to hear you would be back full fledged starting next year. Same cannot be said about me as I am getting more busy with my life outside mylot. It has not been easy plus I need to balance the things I do and relax sometime. Well, need to reorganize myself .However, I have no plans to take break from mylot for now. Lets see how things go. I would love to better my records at mylot and hopefully I will use 2025 for same. To you and your near and dear ones - A very Happy and Merry Christmas as well as a very Happy New Year as well in advance. Enjoy the time!
