MLM - multi level marketing is fine if one is successful in getting many downlines and at the same time if downlines work with vigour.
I was with Forever Living Products an American set up sellling Aloe Vera based products.
I got 5 downlines and was happy and thought I would make a success but sadly none of them did anything
MLM marketing is fine for those who have their downlines working but the product is expensive as payament has to be made to those who work in the MLM system

I tried MLM before, but as you said, you need to have an active downline to be successful. This is not for all though. But one of my college classmates is very successful in MLM. She was able to buy a Lexus car, build a house in a posh subdivision, and travel. She is active until now

@allknowing oh yes, probably. She started that when we graduated from college, and never worked in another company, just the MLM. She is lucky with her downlines

I did mlm a bit some years ago.
It was for an energy company selling gas and electric.
Initially paid a few hundred to join so I could start to build a downline.
I gave up as it was too much work and I was making much money elsewhere.
MLM is a good thing if you're selling a decent product but it has a bit of a bad name due to sketchy companies selling rubbish.
Just looked and the company is still going and this is over 15 years later still using mlm

I am not sure Forever Living is still doing MLM You are right MLM is hard work
